Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile Senior Motion Control Engineer to join our team, as the Motion & Robotics Specialist of the APM Business Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business and sales development, spearheading the complete lifecycle of customer motion projects, leveraging our extensive product portfolio as well as providing top-tier customer support.

This role requires a deep understanding of motion control technologies, vast technical experience in developing complete motion/servo/robotics projects and project development expertise along with a business development approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in driving business and sales development through a technical approach to customer applications.
  • Conduct customer visits to assess needs, deliver technical presentations, and identify opportunities for business development and sales growth.
  • Identify and engage potential customers (OEM – machine builders, End Users & System Integrators).
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for customers, offering expert guidance and support on motion control & robotics products and solutions.
  • Utilize extensive experience in motion project development to design and suggest innovative solutions tailored to meet customers’ specific requirements and challenges.
  • Lead end-to-end execution of customer pilot motion projects, from initial application study and design to implementation, testing, commissioning, start-up, and ongoing support, utilizing company products and solutions.
  • Provide top-tier technical support for motion control applications, including troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Support partners in existing servo applications’ implementation when needed.
  • Reporting to Automation, Power & Motion Business unit Manager

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in motion project development utilizing servos, industrial robots, and inverters, with proficiency in integrating peripheral components and delivering complete motion control solutions for machine builders and/or production lines / factories.
  • Vast experience in delivering Motion Control projects, performing sizing / selecting / programming / tuning – troubleshooting and optimization to machines / production lines consist of AC Servo systems, Stepper motors, Industrial robots, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, Vision Systems, Engineering & CAD Software, Instrumentation and sensors.
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced motion control techniques and technologies, including open/close/fully closed-loop applications, position/speed/torque control, adaptive control & tuning/autotuning, interpolation control (linear, circular, helical), multi-axis synchronous control (gearing, camming, virtual axis, follower, ELS etc), mark detection function, vibration suppression method, pressure control, and others.
  • Utilization of various control methods, including analog control, pulse train control, and fieldbus protocols such as CC-Link IE TSN, SSCNET III/H, EtherNet/IP, ProfiNET, EtherCAT, CC-Link IE, Modbus TCP/RTU, Profibus, etc.
  • Experience in a wide range of application types, such as Vertical Form, Fill & Seal, Rotary Knife, Gantry Application, Pick and Place Robot, Press-fit Machine, Conveyor Systems, Product Handling Equipment, Film Slitting Machine, and Screw Tightening Machine.
  • Strong PLC programming skills with LD, FBD, STL, and SFC languages based on IEC61131-3 standard, along with PLCopen (logic & motion control) and CoDeSys tools knowledge, in order to develop complete motion control systems using PLCs.
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts including IoT, Cloud, and AI/ML applications.
  • Computer literacy including familiarity to programming languages (Python, C#/C++/C, Java), TCP/IP computer networks, HTML, SQL, MS Office and ERP/CRM Systems.
  • Business development oriented & sales growth focused.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a proven track record of successful project execution.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and internal teams.

We are currently looking for Sensors and Instrumentation Sales Engineer (MI) to join our team by promoting measuring equipment to industries, maritime sector, system integrators, original equipment manufacturers (OEM) in Greece and abroad with direct report to the Business Unit Manager.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan for customers and partners
  • Promoting the organization and products
  • Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team
  • Setting individual sales targets with the sales team
  • Coordinating with marketing by attending in exhibitions, conferences, and marketing events etc.
  • Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education
  • Cooperation with all BUs

Your Profile:

  • Degree from AEI / TEI of Electrical Engineering / Automation / Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in the sector of instrumentation and automation industry
  • Knowledge of industrial products and respective market will be considered an asset
  • Excellent command of English/Greek Language (written and verbal communication)
  • Strong Computer literacy (MS Office, ERP/CRM Systems)
  • Development of initiative and orientation to the result
  • Ability to travel in Greece & Abroad
  • Driver’s license
  • Fulfilled military obligations for male candidates

We are currently looking for Production Manager to supervise the assembly of electromechanical components (including machining) and to ensure an efficient production process in line with legal requirements and the Quality Management System of our company.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring smooth execution of production plan and achievement of defined objectives ensuring the maximum capacity of equipment and personnel.
  • Supervising the plan of production resources at the assembly stations and achieving necessary changes.
  • Conducting Production planning to meet technical specifications and deadlines.
  • Monitoring weekly and monthly reports, analyzing Production KPIs as well as conducting Action Plan to ensure continuous improvement in production lines and personnel.
  • Effective cooperation with other Departments e.g., R&D, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Sales, Warehouse, etc.
  • Promoting a culture of collaboration, support, and performance improvement
  • Working in close Cooperation with Operators of Assembly Stations and monitoring of their performance with defined KPIs, implementation of improvement plans as well as providing training and direction where required.
  • Supervising health and safety regulations for the team and identify opportunities to improve safety.
  • Planning and controlling of equipment maintenance as well as collaborating with R&D Department in new equipment selection/installation/operation/training.
  • Providing immediate and effective response to issues that may arise. Setting Priorities.

 Your Profile:

  • Degree from AEI / TEI of Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering
  • ΜBA or Master Degree will be considered an asset
  • 5 years of working experience as Production Manager or Member of the Production Department with the above responsibilities, preferably in the sector of electromechanical equipment.
  • Strong Computer literacy (MS Office, ERP/CRM Systems)
  • Excellent command of English/Greek Language (written and verbal communication)
  • Leadership Ability and Team spirit
  • Ability to manage difficult situations and make decisions
  • Collaborative, solution-focused approach
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and manage incoming calls and emails
  • Greet and assist guests and staff
  • Keep customers updated regarding pending orders
  • Handling customers’ inquiries and requests
  • Perform data entry, file management, and document preparation
  • Assist in organizing internal company events such as meetings, trainings, workshops, and social gatherings
  • Provide administrative support to the Management Team as well as the sales departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Fluent in English and Greek both written and verbal
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar administrative role
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Good Knowledge of CRM/ERP (Entersoft will be consider as a plus)
