Opening Friday 03.09.2021, 20:00 Opening venue: The Bouboulina Museum

With the view to the bicentenary anniversary of the Greek Revolution, and with Laskarina Bouboulina as a source of inspiration, eight female artists design their own personal flag. Bouboulina had created her own flag and it lies with the artists to choose how to portray a modern society and the symbols they will use to represent 2021. The artworks are experienced through a walk along the coast of Saint Nicholas beach.

UTECO has decided to support and sponsor this event “KI-NHMATA” which will take place on 26 / 08-26 / 09/2021 at the Bouboulina Museum on the beach of Agios Nikolaos, Spetses.

In this way we want to promote culture and history as expressed through art and at the same time support the female artist to continue to create and express herself freely.

]]> Christmas has been very special this year. However, it is not necessary to lose your smile. We still can spread the love even if we are in distance. This would be difficult but not impossible. We have to support and protect the vulnerable groups of population.

Due to the COVID – 19 pandemic and the inevitable difficulties, we have to stand by more than ever to the people who need it most this holiday season.

Because of Health regulations as well as we do not want to burden the already burdened work of the country’s couriers and helping to ensure the health of all, sending UTECO’s agendas 2021 is not recommended. Nevertheless, UTECO has decided – as defined by the sense of social responsibility of each company operating in the country – to proceed with the creation of agendas 2021 for its staff in cooperation with the non-profit organization “To Hamogelo tou Paidiou” (means ‘the child’s smile’),  supporting the effort of the organization to ensure the smile of every child this Christmas.

Periplus is an artist in residency program that will run for the first time in the Island of Ithaca. Eight international artists will be hosted on the island of Ithaca for 15 days, during the summer period (25.07.20 – 09.08.20) in order to be inspired by the island history and atmosphere, to produce photographic work and present it to the island’s public.

UTECO has decided to support and sponsor this event which promotes the values and ideals of culture as they are expressed through photography and art.
